Awwww...

Sean Connery says he's going to pass on reprising his role as Indiana Jones's father in the newest Jones movie, and stick to retirement.

Connery's advice to Harrison Ford: "Demand that the critters be digital, the cliffs be low, and for goodness sake keep that whip by your side at all times in case you need to escape from the stunt coordinator!"

His presence will be missed.

I will only watch this out of curiosity. They waited waaaaaay too long. It's over. It'll be worse than Godfather III.

Wolfie Firefly,

On this one, we agree.

Some trivia: in the early '80s the Worldwide Church of God wanted to sue Paramount for stealing their movie scenario about finding the lost convenant of the ark. This is the church founded by Herbert W. Armstrong. Apparently the Church wanted to finance a big budget picture and got aced by Steven Spielberg. I was a member of the church, and the Number Two guy at the time, Stanley Rader, was foaming at the mouth over this. However the Church got bogged down in scandal and the lawsuit kind of petered out. They probably would have made a better picture. I saw the original in a theater and thought it stunk the joint out.

Let's hope they put Harrison Ford in a golf cart to out-run the Nazis this time.
